To Blog or Not to Blog, that is the Question
After spending many weeks deciding whether or not to write a blog, I tentatively thought writing it was pointless. The process included me reading more blogs that I am able to count, then ultimately coming to the conclusion to NOT write a blog. Of course, I wondered if I was failing myself.
Was I, failing myself ? I deliberated internally, as I delved into a circular thought process that invariably manifested itself, creating a loathing self-doubt in my decision NOT to blog. Perhaps I was!
Eventually though, I decided that I did not need to tell my prospective readers about the challenges of starting an online business that would result in earning passive income. Granted, I was trying to convince myself that most people, unlike myself, would instinctively come to the same conclusion.
You see, I work a full-time job. I am a wife, mother, author and business owner. It seems that every task I take on involves so much work. At least it feels that way when I do things the hard way! After reviewing several videos on how to create a website, I tried creating one on my own through WordPress.com. That was a mistake on my part!

I had such great inspiration from the likes of the Lazy Stoner and Roberto Blake. While very inspiring, I learned that there was a lot of work that goes into these ventures.
Working smarter and not harder is really a brilliant way of life. So, I contacted a web designer who assisted me in developing an amazing website www.aSite4Us.com. What I discovered is that my expertise was not web development; as such, I quickly realized that I was taking my valuable time not focusing on my core competencies, but instead trying to learn a new communicative format.

Interestingly enough, becoming an affiliate wasn’t as daunting as I thought it would be. However, my expertise seemed to end when I began trying to simply add affiliate links to my website. This is where my online consultant stepped up by showing me the ‘how to’, of not only adding the links to the site, but by also offering other valuable insights that focused on the End-User.
The moral of the story is, starting a startup can be difficult. If you have the right people and strategic partners in your corner, you will be able to achieve whatever you can dream!
